For this workshop cosmetic surgeons with prior experience will gain confidence under the direct supervision of Dr. Mangubat, who has 31 years of surgical practice experience. Surgeons who are new to the procedure will gain significant insight on how to safely and successfully implement this operation into their cosmetic surgery practice.
Finally, you will be provided with a video of the operation that you performed that will significantly improve your muscle memory and help ensure maximum retention of your new skills.
Dr Ash Dutta has been practising Cosmetic Surgery for 19 years in the UK. He has passed the board exam in cosmetic surgery through the WAOCS and diplomate of the ABFCS and the ABHRS. He is a Fellow of the AACS. He is the Vice-President of the WAOCS and the Program chair for the Annual Meeting to be help in London in September’19. He is on the board of trustees for the ABFCS and the International Chair for the group.
There has been four P3 exams held to date and he is one of the very few candidates who passed all of them. He is the Secretary of the British Association of Body Sculpting (BABS) and also sat (non-voting) on the Committee for the European Union regarding the normalisation of Aesthetic Surgery Services CEN TC-403.
Have breast augmentation competence prior experience with breast augmentation is strongly recommended because this is an integral skill to this operation. Proper cognitive knowledge of tumescent technique critical to a safe and successful operation.
Have basic surgical skills of suturing, knot tying, and instrument handling All candidates must bring these skills with them. In other words, practice these skills before you come to the workshop. Hoping to learn these essential skills during the workshop is not an efficient use of time.
Surgeons with minimal experience may attend and will get significant experience, however, beginners will not achieve full proficiency and will require more extensive experience. This experience can be arranged after knowing your specific needs after the workshop.
While surgeons with minimal skills likely not accomplish proficiency in one setting, they will gain significant skills towards accomplishing proficiency. In addition, they will learn what is needed to become proficient.
We will be providing hands-on models and surgical tools to use during
the lectures and didactics section. Participants will have to option of purchasing their breast model and tools for an additional $950.
Please understand that P3 is intended to reward surgeons who have
demonstrated surgical proficiency to be able to operate independently
to safely offer breast augmentation to their patients. All participants will have to submit a copy of their current CV, a copy of an active medical license and proof of malpractice insurance.
