Microneedling in Seattle
We are excited to begin offering Microneedling in Seattle. Also known as the ‘Vampire Facial’, this combination of treatments is frequently used by celebrities to reverse the signs of aging and maintain skin integrity. It creates controlled micro-injury to stimulate the body’s wound repair process, resulting in increased collagen and elastin while minimizing cellular damage. This is a process that reduces wrinkles, repairs scars, reverses skin damage and shrinks pores. Common treatment areas include the face, neck, décolleté, and surgical scars.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections are added to Microneedling to enhance collagen production, skin tightening and toning, and for reduction of fine lines, acne damage and abnormal pigmentation. PRP is isolated from a patient’s own blood product and contains the plasma, platelets and growth factors that trigger regeneration. With a quick, in-office blood draw before the procedure, the blood can be spun down in a centrifuge and the blood components separated. The isolated PRP is then applied to the face and is absorbed through the microchannels created by the SkinPen. Any remaining PRP remaining after the treatment can be used for injection into areas commonly treated by Neuromodulators and fillers to minimize fine lines, build collagen and replenish volume.
What To Expect after Microneedling in Seattle?
The Seattle skin microneedling procedure is done in our office using a topical anesthetic to numb the skin and minimize any discomfort. The total procedure time is approximately 30 minutes depending on the areas treated. Downtime is minimal and patients should expect only a mild pink coloration to the treated areas for the first 24 hours post-procedure. Each patient will be provided with a complimentary Calming Complex to be used twice daily for the first three days post-treatment. Sun exposure should also be minimized during this time. Treatment maintenance every 3-6 months is recommended for best results.
